International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) is the global standard-setter for deposit insurance systems and the principal forum where deposit insurers from around the world join to share knowledge and expertise. The Association issues core principles, provides training and learning programs and produces research and guidance on matters related to deposit insurance.

The Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC) joined IADI in February 2019 as its member. Pakistan is also a part of its regional committee named Asia-Pacific Regional Committee. The Regional Committees provide a voice to the common interests and issues affecting members in the region. They also serve as separate forums for sharing information and ideas. Since its membership, DPC has been actively engaged in different Regional committees and is following the core principles and guidelines issue by IADI from time to time, as per its mandate.
